CLEANING:
Once you have finished burning your candle, gently wash the bowl with warm water and dish soap to save and use for decorating.

Please allow additional processing time as these wood bowl candles are made-to-order. Wood bowl candles will be shipped wrapped in tissue paper and tied closed with twine.
WOOD WICK CANDLE CARE:
While wooden wicks have a cozy crackling ambiance, they do require a bit of extra care. These are a few tips to get the most out of your wood wick candle. When lighting your wood wick candle for the first time, hold the flame until the entire wick has started burning and you have allowed a small amount of wax to melt and begin soaking into the wick. Always trim your wick before each use. If you don't the wick may not stay lit long enough to fuel the flame, causing it to extinguish itself. Make sure to allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of your candle on the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling, which can impact how well the candle burns.
SUSTAINABILITY
We make our all natural soy candles and wax melts with the environment in mind. Firstly, we have chosen 100% soy wax blends made from soy beans grown in the United States. We also use a cotton, lead-free wick and do not include dyes in our products. Most importantly, we create custom scent blends, using fragrances without phthalates, carcinogens, mutagens, and other harmful toxins. Our goal is to provide a healthy, clean-burning candle and choosing sustainable materials and production methods help us ensure we do so. We strongly encourage you to reuse, recycle, or repurpose your containers and packaging. Our glass is screen-printed and dishwasher safe. Use soap and warm water to completely wash your finished candle and re-purpose it as a drinking glass or many other things.
CANDLE AND MELT CARE
Candles can last 5-7 hours per ounce. Be sure to allow soy candles to burn all the way across to the edge of the container the first time you burn it before putting it out. This ensures that your soy candle does not “tunnel” as it burns. Burn your candle one hour for every inch wide. Keeping your wick trimmed to about 1/4 inch. to avoid large wicks causing smoking, causing soot, and burning too hot. We recommend that you only burn your candle each time long enough to get a good melt pool. The melted wax will continue to add fragrance to the air. // Place the soy wax melt in the top of a wax warmer - do not add water. Depending on the size of your warmer, you may want to place 1-2 pieces and then as 1-2 more as the scent weakens. Reseal melt packaging to retain the fragrance of the remaining melts.
